My name is Genise Burnett and I am a certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) in Arizona. I have 5 plus years experience providing speech therapy services for elementary, middle, and high school aged students. In the school setting I’ve worked with students who had a wide range of both physical, cognitive and behavioral disorders. I’ve also worked in Boston, Massachusetts as an Assistive Technology Specialist (ATS) & as an SLP-A for Easter Seals, servicing a variety of school districts across the state. As an ATS with a background in Speech Language Pathology I serviced clients for both Adaptive Technology and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) needs. I've worked with a wide range of clients from individuals with Cerebral Palsy to clients with Aphasia, and have provided them with resources to effectively adapt to their environment and communicate with those around them.

My skills range from: constructing adaptive switches for clients with little to no mobility, to implementing an alternative mean of communication(AAC) to adult and pediatric clients. As an SLPA I implement effective and evidence based speech therapy to my clients, and ensure that they are provided with quality services.
